PLEASE NOTE:
Always have appropriate tags, licenses, and date and place harvested with your trophies when you take them to your taxidermist. I also require a 50% deposit for all work entering the shop.
Road kill animals are only legal with a permit from the game warden issued at the site of kill. Contact the NCWRC for more information.
Snakes, Birds of prey, Songbirds, Alligators ,and Red Wolves are protected by State and Federal Laws and can not be mounted unless with a special State or Federal permit. ( in most cases possession is illegal)
Out of State : North Carolina has restrictions on bringing deer in from certain other states because of Cronic Waste Disease (CWD). Contact the NCWRC for more information or for a current list go to http://www.ncwildlife.org/ . Click on search at the top of their page and enter CWD, Paragraph 7 will have current info. For info copied from the NCWRC as of December 2008 click here.
